This former Twin might be a nice addition.

That could very well be a good p/u he hits LHP very well and would be slightly above lg avg defensively in the COF.

.296 BA, .379 OBP, .509 Slg% Career vs. LHP

.229 BA, .332 OBP, .349 Slg% Career vs. RHP

Perhaps the guy should try cutting out the LH portion of his switch hitting approach.

'07 Salary 2.1 mill, which means a little over a mill left on his contract this yr.

Like the Bat Signal in Gotham, Krivsky's Former Twin Alert must be illuminating the sky in downtown Cincinnati tonight.

Has he been injured? Why so few ABs this season?

He'd make a nice back-up OF'der due to his ability to be a perfect platoon player. I'm not sure if he can play 1st base, but he's the type (offensively speaking) that would have fit in better this season rather than Conine.

However, 2M for a back-up OF'der is not really a luxury that the Reds can afford. These types can be had at much cheaper rates.

I agree. I can not see spending $$$ on Kielty when you have a very serviceable Norris Hopper. The pro-rated $1 Million needs to go to pitching.
