Help your fellow RZ'ers who are at GAB wondering about the weather.

You never leave a game until the bitter end....

Do they have enough beer money? I have to know that before I can vote.

Really.

They do have credit cards, but they also have GAC's kids.

What?

They're gonna trade GAC's kids for beer?

Wow, that's dedication.

If they get desparate enough ... ;)

Based on personal experience, I'd vote for go. Every time I've left during a rain delay with no end in sight, it has been the smart choice. Every time I've stayed, I've been miserable.

How long can any human put up with cub fans?

They hid out in the gift shop ... at least for a while.

To satisfy everyone's curiosity, we decided to stay. GAC and the kids left after the 5th and I took off when Lou pulled Hill.

Sorry you missed the wild finish.

You could have pictured forever in your mind all those sad Cub's faces.

Well, I saw it on TV so that was good enough. :D

As of now, 24 out of 27 told y'all to stay, but I'd guess that only about 3 out of those 27 would have actually stayed if put in the same position.

Oh....I thought Chip and GAC had committed some sort of major RZ infraction and we were being given a chance to help decided if they get booted.

GAC was so gone.

I thought the had been signed and were now in the Reds bullpen. I was all ready to vote "stay" - and maybe in a couple weeks they could've moved into the starting rotation.

And we have a winner!

Me and the kids left in the 6th after the rain started in again. I still had to stop back by the grandparents before we made the 2 1/2 hr trek home, so it was for the best. And today we've got a family reunion at my Mom's. We got home around 2 AM.

But standing up out of the rain around of bunch of wet, smelly Cub fans was just too much to bear. :mooner:

As soon as we left the stadium the rain seemed to stop. But as soon as we got on US 75 it kicked in again.

We listened to the game on WLW on the way back, and Rachel got real upset when the bullpen blew it for Bronson. Me being the quick wit that I am responded "Yeah, we got screwed tonight by the weather. Both out of the sky and the bullpen."

Chip was the real trooper though. He hung around.

It turned out for the best though with a 5-4 win.

Poor Bronson.

Wow, that's dedication.

If you could actually get beer for your kids, I'm surprised more people are not childless.

Tom Browning's perfect game had a rain delay in it. I know a father/son who were at the game and left during the delay. Enough said.

My uncle has an unused ticket from Browning's perfect game. He never attended the game because of what he saw on the weather report.
