Ok, Edabbs and I go round and round about signing Lilly/Marquis. Putting our frustrations aside and pretending we had a "way-back" machine, and also pretending that Bob C was going to open the pocketbook, should we have made a move for them last offseason?

Eddabs does make a good point..sometimes to improve the team you have to be willing to spend money and take risks. Are they a good risk? Bad risk?

Take away the bickering between he and I....was it an opportunity missed, or a bad deal masked by some uncharicteristic good performances (and the crows will come home to roost in the out-years of the contracts)?
