On the BIP charts at minorleaguesplits.com, do the flyballs include HR's or not? Just wondering.

I know that they didn't last year, but at a quick glance the numbers don't seem to work unless they do include home runs.

Example:
Jay Bruce has 271 at bats and 5 sac flies. Thats 276 non walk/hbp plate appearances. He had 68 strikeouts. So that would make 208 balls he hit that were either hits or outs. Looking at his BIP data, it says he actually has 206 balls in play.

Somewhere along the lines they lost track of 2 hits. His hits on the splits page is 89, while his hits on the BIP data page is 87. He had 11 HR in Sarasota, so I would go with yes, HR are a part of the data.

It's tough to figure out because the BIP numbers usually don't match up with the actual statistics. Thanks Doug.
