I have a vision of children in their pajamas in 1975 watching Saturday morning TV and snickering quietly while a parent says, "Allright, that's enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".

That brightened up my evening.

I love when the announcer talks about how to play the game: You make moves on offense and defense, and then get into position to...BUST YOUR OPPONENT'S BALLS!!!!!

He's almost enjoying saying it, you can tell.

My ribs hurt now.

That almost seems like a comedy sketch, or something from Kentucky Fried Movie. I think what put it over the top for me was, at the end, the husband says "You're a BALLBUSTER" and the wife turns around and winks to the camera.

Agree. I also have no memory of the commercial or that game. If it was real I think some one would remember. Anyone?

No, but it kind of reminded me of "Skittle Pool"

(If it is a made-for-youtube commercial...playing "The Entertainer" in the background was a nice touch, since "The Sting" came out in '73 and revived interest in Joplin's ragtime music)

The announcer's voice sounded vaguely familiar, like he used to do previews for old Disney movies

Graphics, clothing and haircuts were right out of the '70's, as well

Never heard of the "Mee-Co" toy company, though
