What was up with Hoppers pants? They were SUPER tight and mid length in the first few innings. Then around the 4th inning he went big and baggy again. Looked like he was going with a 12 year olds uniform early in the game. Anyone know the story on them? Just curious.

Hopper should return the favor and arrange to have Dunn's uni pants shortened by about a foot. ;)

On the TV broadcast, Welsh and Grande said it was a rookie hazing stunt by the "vets" on the team.

Lemme guess, it shows Dunn doesn't care and isn't a serious enough baseball player? ;)

Geez, you'd think he was the only one involved in the prank. Per the article, it wasn't just Dunn:

Here's what Hopper had to say: "They made me do it. They said we were bringing the Big Red Machine. Dunn and them, showing tribute to the old school players.”

Some fans need to realize that this stuff goes on all the time, but isn't usually so visible to the public. These guys are human and they have to have a little fun too. What is wrong with people?

Would have made the playoffs if Dunn would take his job a little more seriously and not made Hopper wear the hot pants.

We should trade him for someone a little more serious. Someone like my Grandpa, maybe.

I love Adam Dunn. He can be frustrating at times, but give that boy a LTC. You need stuff like this in MLB during a 162-game grind. And like Chad Johnson, it's not mean-spirited stuff. I bet all of Dunn's teammates love him.

The Yankees must not care enough either.

Maybe Hopper should wear those tight pants more often since he walked the first two times he was up that game.
