Just saw this tidbit in an article (http://www.pjstar.com/stories/092607/PHI_BEFDC0BM.033.php) about a custom suit-maker in California that is going out of business. Apparently their most renowned garment was made for one of the most famous Reds.

Yet the most novel order was the company's piece de resistance, the suit worn by Cincinnati Reds catcher Johnny Bench for his induction into the baseball Hall of Fame in 1989. The suit, charcoal gray with red pinstripes, looks classy but unexceptional from afar. But a smiling Bench would pull friends near and bark, "Look at my suit." Up close, they'd see the pinstripes were not solid lines; rather, tiny script repeatedly spelled "Johnny Bench" - handiwork that cost $4,000.
