Count me in. Unfortunately, this year has left a lot to be desired.

Die-hard. But I don't give a damn about football. So I can't commiserate much.

Look forward to hoops' season.

I love my UL...football season sure has been frustrating and hoops should be amazing

Dyed in Cardinal Red. I was a ball boy and ran stats for the basketball team for years. My dad worked for UofL and we sat through many a horrible Webber football season, so I have been trying not to get down on the team this year. The Cards were more essential to my growing up than even the Reds.

I am not a Louisville fan, but I do love the atmosphere of their home games. That's the main reason I love college sports is the atmosphere.

Louisville fans, take a good look at the Keg of Nails because it will be switching hands on October 13th.

You'll kill us. We were getting tired of having it around though ;)

It's been getting rusty sitting in UofL's shed for all these years. Perhaps a change of hands might do it some good.

I do think you guys kill UL but you never know with our team

If you don't care about football, you're not exactly a die-hard fan.

Maybe he's a fan of their English department?

Would the same be said if he didn't give a hoot about the gymnastics team?

Football's dull--any and all forms. IMO.

Yeah, I guess in the abstract I want the Cardinals' football team to succeed, but I've never watched a Cardinals' football game in my life, so I can't claim allegiance.

Of course the injury to Juan Palacios puts a damper on things. Can that guy every get healthy? Wonder if Rick is serious about redshirting him?

Yeah, he's something of a mystery. But the Cards will be good (and potentially great), even without 100% from Palacios.

I'll never be convinced that football is anything but homoeroticism camouflaged by shoulderpads. Not that I don't find that exciting at times, mind. But I smell what you're smoking.

Pitino threatens to redshirt an injured player every year but he never does. Palacios has never lived up to his potential and the Cards could survive without him. Personally, I'd rather see Williams, Clark, and Caracter at the 3 and 4 and less of Palacios. Besides he will only be out 4-6 weeks.

He won't play. There is too much talent in front of him and he's very raw.
