That was funny. Abreu is standing at the plate getting ready to bat he taps his bat on home plate and the bats breaks in half.

This Game 2 between the Yanks-Indians has been a humdinger! Wow!

Both Pettite and Carmona have pitched one heck of a game.

Indians threatening again, and Pettite is removed in the bottom of the 7th.

1-0 Yanks

Indians now 1 for 12 with runners in scoring position tonight as Chamberlin comes in to stop that scoring chance.

Joba Chamberlian replaced Pettite and was able to get out of the inning without giving up a run.

The Indians have definitely had opportunities in this game.

If that shot Martinez hit was 3 feet to the right it would be a tie game.

It has to be horribly distracting to pitch in this pressure packed game with bugs crawling all over your face. It is making me itch just watching this game.

It's no mistake that Cleveland started a pitcher with the name Faust.

Very true...the guy has been extremely impressive. Shows you what a difference a year can make for a pitcher, when given the chance.
If I am not mistaken, that put A-Rod at 0-18 in his last 18 post season at bats.

That AB ended in a K of Sizemore, but I'm guessing there might not be a more important AB in this series than that one.

13 pitches and he gets to first on a passed ball on the 3rd strike. Crazy.

It's just simply amazing watching these two high powered offenses getting shut down by excellent pitching. They are scratching for anything they can get. It's games like these when playing small ball, when you have to due to that pitching, can be the difference between a win or loss.

They had him throwing what he would normally throw in 2 nights. I can't help but wonder if Peralta would have laid off those early pitches, if he might have gotten something better to hit.

But sooner or later it's gotta bite you in the butt.

The funny thing is, the same thing happened during the season, and I think it was even the Angels that time, too, maybe even the same catcher. But that time, the fan got out of the way and let him make the catch. And that fan is already famous. Guess who?

Funny. Just when I'd pretty much decided Manny wasn't worth it anymore.

And right after they finished saying what a no brainer it was to walk Ortiz to pitch to Manny.
