Does anyone know where I can listen to Jim Rome online? I used to do that from a Cinci radio stream but can't remember what station it was

I think it's Jimrome.com. The Cincy affiliate is 1530-AM

Rome is a moron. To each his own though.

Yes, and it's soooo cool to be infamous.

The fact remains most of his show is full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. It stands to reason that he'd be called an idiot. ;)

I don't hate Rome or like him...he just bores me...his schtick gets old after a couple of weeks.

STILL, I never laughed as hard as I did about his interview with Jim Everett when he kept calling him "Chris"...I still chuckle about that.

I wonder what Chris is up to these days.

I went to the same high school as "Chris". (Jim) Pretty decent fellow actually......

Put me in the love Rome camp. His takes are usually logical and reasonable. You may disagree with it, but he won't resort to non-sensical rhetoric as most Cincy show hosts are prone to do.

The only drawback (which is a big one IMO) is that he allows these clowns - ERRRR! - clones to take the mic and give their spiels. I don't care what they have to say from their previously written cue cards, and I don't care for their attempts to sound like Jim Rome.

War the Reds in '08, and War It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Jim Rome's takes are fine but how about how he tends to praise himself especially after a jock sniffing interview?

"That interview was classic. Jungle karma for that dude. What a great guy."

He's a boob. In high school, we all knew dudes like Rome. And we always thought, "Man, I hate that guy."

Rome is a horrible interviewer IMO but some of his takes can be mildly entertaining. A little bit of Rome goes a long way.

I am a big Rome fan. When he used to do his so-called "tour stops"--I attended two in Cleveland and one in Cincy. All three shows were as Rome would say "epic". One in Cleveland was during a Reds/Tribe series weekend, and I remember Denny Naegle telling the crowd how much he would love to pitch in cleveland and the rage i felt afterward....the shows were great though for hanging with like minded sports fans before and after the shows.

Romie does have his faults though...it is obvious his "Thoughts/takes" are scripted heavily...he'll fumble words awkwardly from time to time while giving them and he seems to be really uncomfortable when having guests in studio...but I love the show and look forward to it and the "clones" getting me through a workday.

Rack me - I'm Out...

His annoying level is slightly below Stephen A, but I'll still catch his show here and there. His pronunciation of every syllable drives me up the wall.
