Happy Thanksgiving GAC (and everybody else). This is perhaps my favorite day of the year. My jobs today are to eat until I'm sick, watch football, eat some more, watch more football........
I had to go out last night and buy some cranberry sauce for the turkey. I'm the only ne in the family that will eat it, but I just can't enjoy turkey without cranberry sauce.
And my wife makes this sweet potato casserole that is absolutely out of this world!
Then, for the football games, I made a cheeseball, as well as a summer sausage and misc. cheese tray.
Thanksgiving = gluttony :lol:

Just put the turkey in the oven.
A Happy Thanksgiving to all my Redszone friends.
My sister just sent me these :lol:
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.... I hope you all pass out from eating too much turkey, watching too much football, and spending too much time enjoying the company of loved ones.........

8 oz cheddar
4 oz blue cheese
1 tsp onion
1 tsp worsteshire sauce
1/8 tsp garlic power
little cayenne pepper (very little)
mix up, roll into ball and then coat in dried parsley.

Heres to the one day that we can celebrate the consumption of 3500 calories, or as Frank Caliendo calls it: "Everyday"

Happy Thanksgiving, all.
I have much to be thankful for today. My nephew's 2 month premature little girl is thriving, my first grandchild, a little boy was born back in October, my dad's basal cell skin cancer has been healed by a skin graft, my daughter survived a tonsilectomy (one to go with a son), and my wife is a great cook and hostess. I thank God for his many blessings.
Oh yea, and I get to tease the above mentioned UM loving nephew with my scarlet and gray slipper socks, my Ohio State watch, Across the Field ringtone, my Buckeye Glory Days book open to the 2002 Buckeye defeat of Michigan, and any other ribbing that might arise through the course of the day. It is an uncle's duty! :beerme:
