Not to steal any of Sava's mojo, but I also just got engaged while on Vacation at Disney last week.

I asked her in front of Cinderella's Castle just before the Wishes fireworks and to my delight, she said yes. Here is a photo take a minute before I asked.http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f74/deltachi8/castle.jpg

Good show, deltachi8!

Disney World is a fabulous place to pop the question! My wife and I went there for our honeymoon, and we were just there in October with the kids as well. Great place.

I proposed on Christmas eve (last year) so I think it might be something to do with the holidays

Congratulations!

It must be a good plan, I proposed at the same place only during the fireworks! Luckily I received a YES also.

Thanks everyone, I am very happy, even though she is a braves fan (but has a thing for catchers which makes it better.)

Just had to share this picture. My wedding was last Saturday and my wife, who grew up mostly in the south, decided to teach about "groom's cakes" (something I have never heard of before). So, here is what she surprised me with at the Rehearsal dinner last week:

Nice cake. Hope it didn't cause you to choke or strike out in the clutch. :)

Nice cake. Hope it didn't cause you to choke or strike out in the clutch. :)

My wife and her family are Braves fans. When her Dad tried to give me a bit of grief about not having a Braves cake, i said i would order one, but they usually cause choking in the post season.

My best friend popped the question to his girlfriend yesterday at Disneyland. Me and another friend were hired to shadow them until the exact moment, then we leaped out and handed them the ring.
