In honor of GAC, I will put up a more positive thread here to list your best traits.

Mine:

I dress well, or so I'm told (suit and tie every work day, no matter how hot it gets down here).

I'm a good listener (especially if it's gossip.)

I have good skin and nice teeth.

Feel free, ladies and gentlemen.

In golf I never get mad, no matter how poorly I hit a ball.
And I never try to tell anyone how to improve their game unless they ask first.

I am reliable; the best compliment ever paid to me was by a friend who said that when his car breaks down at 2am in a bad neighborhood, I am the one he will call.

I don't over-estimate those around me to be more than they are.

I'm a glass half-full type of guy, I really like to look for the things that can go right, not focusing on the things that can go wrong. Although I'm aware that they are there.

I am THE Relationship specialist for my friends. Anyone of my friends would tell you that I'm the number one guy to go to if the need seems fit.

A lot of people tell me I have a great smile, and that it brightens their day. (I really like this one)

And I have really good size for a football player.

My word is my bond. If I say I will do it...consider it done.

I have real compassion for children who have irresponsible parents.

I'm a problem solver.

I have the ability to look at things through other peoples eyes, even if it is negative about me. I feel most people look at themselves through rose colored glasses.

I give GREAT directions. No need for GPS if I give you directions.;)

I am responsible for me and my family, no one else. It's my job to provide.

I always right "thank-you notes."

I always use my signals to change lanes, or turn. My head lights are always on when it's dusk, or raining.

I feel my employees are well compensated, they must be because I have little turn-over.

I always fix my ball marks (golf) and rank the traps. I replace divots. You be surprised the golfers that don't. I always say "good shot" or "good putt" even if it cost me money.

I do the right thing when nobody is looking. Otherwise, I can't sleep.

2nd best? Good lord! You're like a freaking library! I'd love to see the person with the best collection! :)

I was bored. I don't actually have any good traits, so I had to make something up.

Ahhhhhhhhh

I'm kinda in the same boat. But I gave up trying to think of something. I guess I need to add lazy and no ambition (along with condescending, of course) to my list of "worst traits".

That's tough to answer because you really don't know how you project to others.

I've been told that I'm objective. People will come to me for advice knowing that they may not like my answer. I don't automatically side with the person seeking my guidance.

I'm a good worker and I get satisfaction from solving technical problems. Leave me alone in a laboratory and I'm in heaven. (Unfortunately I no longer have that luxury but I'm trying hard to make lemonade out life's lemons.)

I don't need much out of life and try to live simply.

Sounds kind of boring ........ that's a good thing. :)

I am a methodical perfectionist. If you want something done correctly on the first pass, and time is not a major issue...I'm your man.

In an effort not to take up too much bandwith, I'll just say that I have a lot of good traits. #1 is probably my modesty, though.

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.

Hey WOY, you need to write that book already. Then you can be in Neyers' library and narrow the gap.
