The Reds 2008 Media Guide is available online at reds.com, in the FansForum section. All this time, in any Hot Stove Notebook I've received, there has been 17 NRI's. The media guide lists 18, including Scott Sauerbeck.

Upon further review, on his media guide page, he was signed to a minor league contract on Jan. 22. Who knew??

I would assume he means the lefty out of the great Northwest High School.

Guy was lights out a few years ago...wikipedia says he signed a minor league deal with the Astros last year at this time and was released by the Round Rock Express on June 19, 2007.

Both Paul Bako and Scott Sauerbeck have been signed to minor league deals, and invited to spring training. There is an open thread about it in Minor League Report.

not a bad sign. Sauerbeck is an experinced lefty who can hopefully kick stanton out of the bullpen.

Along with Paul Bako. I don't know about you guys but, I've already put in for time off in October.
