make sure your not mutedI was thinking about saying that, but I thought that would be obvious.:)

It's been a great show tonight. Lots of good stuff from Bob C., and some talk about the Reds staying in Sarasota.

Does Adam Dunn hate Paul Daughtery or is he just a big a-hole? He seems to a little pompous.

Adam Dunn has always came off that way. I think its probably because hes always been the popular big kid whos good at sports his whole life.

He probably hates Doc, and for good reason.

After the way the Cincy media has treated Dunn, I would be suprised if he wasn't an ass to all of them.

Dunn has never liked Daughtery, and for good reason. I don't think Doc has ever had a good thing to say to Dunn.

I remember Doc going to ST last year with the idea of "burring the hatchet". He proceeded to bash Dunn most of the season and pointed at AD as the main reason the Reds haven't won since 2000.

Some of the guys on WLW leave alot to be desired as far as interviewing people.
Sunday morning when interviewing C Trent , the announcer wanted to know what c trent was looking for in Arroyo to which Trent replied "nothing". He said he was more interested in seeing Cueto.
The guy kept on with the Arroyo thing and that he was interested in seeing how BA pitched.
Ctrent also stated how win-loss records for pitchers can be very misleading and you cant really look at that. The other guy again objected. Ctrent appeared to feel silly answering some of the questions and I cant say that I blame him.
I mean Cueto is going to face major league hitters and this dude is worried about what Arroyo does.
Sorry I dont know his name but fact is I seldom listen to WLW unless it is reds related.

Funny, the 3/3/08 Reds game was on XM178 with the Twins broadcast team doing the play by play. The announcers said something like this in the second inning. " We have said in the past that Adam Dunn's play in left field is a negative and it looks as though it continues to be. "

It is always interesting to see how the other broadcast teams comment on the Reds.

Those Twins broadcasters were clueless. "Did the Reds have a Gold Glove candidate last year?" Then they went on to mention Gonzalez.

They also said the Harang was a #3 starter.

Yeah, that bothered me too. How many teams have a 16 game winner as their number 3 starter. I didn't look it up but I doubt many. They basically said that Arroyo was a #4 too. I see Arroyo as a #3. Harang is a 1.5, 2 at worst.

Not only has Harang had back to back 16 win season but he has also led the league in K's and been at or near the top in inning, CGs, and SHO while being top 10-15 in ERA.

I don't think they even mentioned Brandon Phillips. Nice homework twinkie announcers! :p:
