Felix posted the old posts before the rule was in place. You'll notice he now has a link in his sig, just as you've been allowed to do if you elect to do so.

Because it was made before the policy was instituted. Note the 2005 date on all of the posts in that thread.

Most of the time he has actual content in his posts and if it's something that's in his blog, he posts the content instead of just a link to it so no one actually has to go to his blog to read it.

He could but he shouldn't make a habit out of it. If the folks who want to pimp their blogs want to advertise them so much, I'm sure Boss and GIK could arrange a nice payment arrangement. But I don't think it's asking too much to put the link in a sig and contribute content to RedsZone at the same time. It's a win-win situation.
