No Robert John?

Sad eyes, turn the other way
I don't wanna see you cry
Sad eyes, you knew there'd come a day
When we would have to say 'goodbye'

"The Greatest Love of All" is cheesier than anything on that list.

I can't imagine Bret Michaels ever thought he'd be on this list.

Actually, I thought "Every Rose Has Whatever" was one of the few really deserving songs on the list, along with one of my all-time least favorites, "I Want To Know What Love Is". There were many, many worse than those, however. Where's "Reunited", for instance?

Looking at the pictures of the album covers in that article I'm reminded of a few things.

1) The cover of the Frontiers album by Journey made zero sense.

2) Chris DeBurgh is a nerd. One look at that pic and I'm singing "The Dorkhead in red...is staring at me..."

Shouldn't Air Supply's entire body of work be included?

Lost in Love
All Out Of Love
Young Love
Making Love Out Of Nothing At All
etc.

...and where's Savage Garden?

To The Moon And Back
Truly Madly Deeply
and their whole repertoire as well...

THE POWER OF CHEESE!!!

I'm kind of frightened that you know so many Air Supply songs.

I agree with a good number of them but, sorry, Journey's "Faithfully" never even came CLOSE to seeming cheezy to me.

How about "I like Dreamin'" by Kenny Nolan or "Take My Breath Away" by Rex Smith, stuff like that? Now THAT'S cheezy.

I know it's a fairly new song, but I think that "Bubbly" song by Colbie Calliet should get consideration. A truly awful and sappy love song.

Also a new entrant: "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt. Not only are the lyrics moronic, but the guy sounds like a pair of cats with their tails caught in the vacuum cleaner, scratching on a chalkboard to get free.

Feelings, nothing more than feelings,
Trying to forget my feelings of love.
Teardrops rolling down on my face,
Trying to forget my feelings of love.

Feelings, for all my life I'll feel it.
I wish I've never met you, girl;
You'll never come again.

Feelings, wo-o-o feelings,
Wo-o-o, feel you again in my arms.

Todd Snider has one called Just In Case.

You oughta know by now this love of mine is real
Honey words just can't describe the way I feel
And even though we just met
I'm so glad the date is set
And years from now I would bet
We'd be together still

But just in case
Just in case
This morning I went by my lawyer's place
I didn't think you would mind
Here honey sign this dotted line
What's yours is yours
And what is mine will always be mine
Just in case

Well you know I can't love you enough
But I also can't afford to lose half of my stuff
There's no doubt in my mind
These ties that we're about to bind
Will hold us both together any time it gets too tough

But just in case
Just in case
This morning I went by my lawyer's place
I didn't think you would mind
Here dumplin' sign this dotted line
What's yours is yours
And what is mine will always be mine
Just in case

I guess when you're doing as much cocaine as those guys, a shirtless group hug seems completely acceptable.

30 years ago you couldn't turn on an AM radio without this coming out of it....but if you were close enough, you could hurl the radio against the wall to stop it before it drove you insane.

That is offically the greatest video ever.

Those guys definatley have invested themselves in the role. I'm not sure what was the best part of that vid. (1) The lead singers accent and scary beard/hair cut (2) The dude who just screached "bright eyes" and showed off his ass crack while beating a stove (3) The sweatsuits.

My new favorite band.

Hurra Torpedo is the world's leading kitchen appliance rock group. Since 1993 they have played for full houses all over their native Norway with their eclectic mixture of cover tunes and original material. Now, thanks to the wonders of the internet, their heartbreaking version of Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart is known all over the world .

Another version Total Eclipse. The sound quality is horrable but it's quite the scene.

EDIT: Hurra Torpedo is available on itunes.
