There are 7 postiion players left in camp that are not currently on the 40 man roster. Those include Cabrera, Gil, Green, Hairston, Andy Phillips, Patterson, Bako and Colina. Add to that, those on the 40 man that will not make the 25 man roster and you have a whole bunch of bodies to push down the AAA (or lower I suppose). Which of these do you suppose will simply go to the minors, which will get released and or traded before ST breaks in the a couple of weeks.
