Wow, redsmetz. Last year a healthy Junior hit HR #7 in game #38 (May 13).
Game #38 this year will be May 11 @ NY Mets. He will be given that Sunday game off and hit career #600 the next day AT HOME against the Florida Marlins. May 12th... like redsmetz says.

What is that? A 155 home run pace?

Speaking of April 10. Name a REDS pitcher who has started a game on April 10 that is still with the club today? Notta!
The 21st century... Steve Parriss, Jose Acevedo, Danny Graves, Cory Lidle, Eric Milton, Kyle Lohse.

LOL - I just picked a date before the Cleveland series because that's the weekend my daughter graduates from college, so I know I can't be there - not to mention I have to sell three tickets for each of those games from our Power Pack tickets! So I picked a date ahead of that with no idea when he hit number seven last year. Pulled that one out of.....

After he hits #599. ;)
It's quite an accomplishment when you think about it. The only players ahead of him are Bonds, Aaron, Mays and Sam the Sham. A-Rod will eventually get there and probably pass everyone unless injuries derail him. So he should be in the top 5 of all time for quite a while. That's impressive.
