thats right after wood gave up 3 runs in the top of the 9th. game going to extra innings.

Amazing what chemical enhancements will do for a player... remember when he used to throw PURE SMOKE? He looks like a completely different pitcher.

What time period was that? I honestly only remember him being on my radar when he was killing for the Dodgers.

their fastballs (both Gagne/Wood) were topping out at 92-93 and their off-speed stuff doesn't have the bite it once had.

Hardly. Considering Bailey is 100% different in his delivery and motion, there is a reason why he never will be a bullpen pitcher.

Both of these pitchers have bad mechanics and they blew out.
