I cringe everytime I see them...which happen to be a million times a game, it seems.

The worst part is that it's so damn catchy!

"Cause they're together again! JTMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!"

HAHA if you find a ringtone let me know BLUE!

I just watched them a second ago for the first time on youtube since Im outta state. Gotta admit it is catchy, which is what you want outta a product. I dont understand why Chris Welsh needs to be involved and why he is crying. I think he is crying because he no longer has George Grande in his ear 4 hours a day. Tears of joy.

Bronson has got a new gig doing cover songs with JTM lyrics applied to them.

Is that really Bronson doing those songs...or is he just lip-sync'ing?

(I've seen numerous mentions of these commercials and it got me curious...I watched them on the JTM website. I'm in Houston so I'd never seen them before)

The commercials are great...in the vein of being so cheesy and awful you cant forget them...love the "serious pose" Bronson gives at the end...goofy Welsh and his mustache just add to the kitsch...

Ive got it as a ringtone right now, not exactly sure on the process because my friend did it but essentially you need to rip the audio from the video clips which can be found on youtube, google "how to rip audio from youtube clips" and you will find a website or a program to do it, next you need to go to www.mobile17.com, with this website you can make a ringtone with any audio you have on your computer for free. Takes awhile for them to send you the ringtone, mine took like an hour and a half but its free so who cares.

I don't like the commercials. You can tell he'd rather be back in Boston singing jingles for chowder commercials instead. :p:

It isn't to bad until he holds out the M. That makes it just terrible IMO. I agree that it is defenitly catchy though.

That's why they invented the Mute button.

Not as bad as whatever that crap Carson Palmer was doing last year, I heard them joking about on Fox sports before. "Hey gang, its time for a big ... weiner" or something like that.

Grande sitting there staring blankly into space next to Arroyo like he's stoned is hilarious too.

the thing that annoys me about it is, Bronson is playing an acoustic guitar, but the sound on the commercial is a pretty heavy electric guitar sound. I'm surprised they did that, but it is probably to add to the corniness.

I miss em, you don't get to see them on MLB.TV

It's an epic commercial. I can see me hating it later, but right now it's too catchy to hate.

I find the spots to be very well done and artistic. The juxtaposition between Bronson Arroyo's "rock out" attitude and Chris Welsh's stifling unhip head bobbing represents the modern man's never ending struggle to find contentment, love and meaning in a nihilistic, uncaring and, frankly, indifferent universe. It is Fellini-esque in its presentation and Lynchian in its awkwardness. The slow pan over the grilling meat completes the mise en scène. It is also symbolic of our beloved summer sport: slow, hot, grilling, sometimes satisfying, sometimes disappointing.

It is a true craftsman's job, those commercials.

I know one thing about that commercial. Bronson can't sing. He's off key bigtime. It's hard on the ears.

04-07-2008, 04:41 PM
Chris Welsh doesn't cry in that commercial because the Reds aren't home or because he doesn't have a bag of taco filling in his lap - he cries because Bronson just gave up another home run.

Wonder what JTM's contingency plan for these commercials is if Bronson continues to tank?...

I saw the commercial yesterday on youtube (thanks Moby), it was pretty funny I thought. I have to say though, I have never heard of JTM in my life, but whatever that was, it looked disgusting, like poo on a bun.

BTW the hoagie meat they are advertising the crap out of is disgusting

All JTM stuff is nasty. Its soy/beef/carmel color to make the soy look like beef+some gristle, and fat=Nasty JTM. All their beef products taste the same. When I was growing up the only time you bought or ate JTMs is if you were going to throw a backyard party, or pool party. Then you give the people ton of condiments to cover up the flavor. Also its a must to cook them on charcoal that takes away some of the nasty flavor. Where else can you get 20 burgers for $5?

I sincerely hope those gentlemen were paid very well for their services.

You think they would do it if they weren't? :)

I dont understand why Chris Welsh needs to be involved

Cause when they do the advertisements on tv for JTM Welsh always did that plug last year, and he talked about how he likes them. So he was a natural fit to be in the commercial, and Arroyo is in it singing cause he's in a band on the off season.
