Brian Jordan of the Cardinals played in the NFL and pretty good,IIRC.
Jefferies was a number one pick for the Mets and I saw him play rookie league ball in Kingsport TN. I would have thought then he would have been a great MLB player but that just shows how far the rookie leagues are form the majors.

For those interested, this would be the last home run in the storied career of former Whitesox Wayne Nordhagen.
