I searched all 15 teams' starting rotations and found 25 left handed starters.
That's 33% of the starting pitching the Reds may face over the season.
That equates to about 53 games over the course of the season depending how the rotations fall of course.
Seems to me Wayne should be looking for a better option against left handed pitching. It's beyond obvious now that we need a 1B option and an outfielder from the right side. Waiting for Gonzalez to return so Kepp can be the first base option against lefties will cost at least a month. I find it hard to believe there's not a trade opportunity for Hatte/ Freel out there somewhere.
