The Enquirer today reduced our GMs to hit and miss stats. It was kind of interesting. It showed WK to be a .500 GM.

Krivsky's short time here gave him a 9-9 record. Jocketty's time in St Louis yielded a 33-13 mark including 10-2 in his first three years.

WK, 9-9 just wasn't good enough with Jocketty waiting in the wings...

Same could be said for Jocketty. His 1997 acquisition of Mark McGwire would have to qualify. I suppose you can take it as far as you like. If hits/misses don't cut it, extrapolate a slugging percentage if you like...
