Wow. He could have been hurt badly. That was quite the spill.

I like how Gapper just keeps driving, nice.

"going back ... back ... he hits his head against the wall. It's rolling toward second base!"

I doubt he realized he had fallen off.

Time for Mr.Redlegs to call it quits, Gapper is the future.

But he's a baseball man.

I'm guessing Doc Kremcheck had his hands full with that one!!

Since he's okay, that's really really funny. Almost as good as Randall Simon braining the sausage girl.

Just another decapitation at the Great American Ballpark.

Mr. Redlegs will probably sue Gapper today. He should have stayed down on the turf longer, kicking and thrashing like a fish out of water.

He'd be set up for a sweet jury verdict with that on videotape. But nooooooo, he jumps up and hugs that furry miscreant.

Wow, that one clip basically encapsulates the season (and the entire decade) for the Reds. If a die-hard Reds fan fell into a coma after the 1999 season and woke up this morning and asked me, "what have the past 9 years been like for the Reds?" I'd show him that clip, and that clip alone.

How tragic this must have been for all of the little kids in attendance who thought Mr. Redlegs really did have a head the size of a lawnmower. ;)

Now if only Mr. Red has lost his head, maybe he could have had it replaced with a slightly less creepy alien version.

It's the most important clip of the year.

He did immediately grab his head. Whiplash??

I think Gapper was just hogging the spotlight. Surely he would've noticed that after a few seconds, but he just kept driving and never came back into the picture to see if he was alright. He's evil. Did you see how fast he was driving?

Well, the clip on BBT showed Gapper hugging him on the field after the fall, so he must have come back at some point.

He was probably just backing up to get another shot at him.

he did come back shortly after...at first, my ma thought it was a joke and was waiting for mr. redlegs to hit gapper over the head with his bat...when he didn't and they hugged, she realized it was an accident...

Wait a sec...

Gapper was hugging Mr. Red and not an attractive middle aged mom?

Something's not quite right there.
