Penny struggling and Arroyo throwing well in his last 2 starts. This has very good chances of the reds winning 7 in a row. Reds need to keep Furcal and Russel Martin in check over the next 3 games.

Furcal's on the DL so that should help...

I see a big key is being PATIENT with Penny. If I remember correctly, his first start against the Reds this year the Reds bailed him out by swinging at pitches early in the count.

Maybe Paul Janish (and Dunn for that matter) reviewed how to be patient at the plate with all the guys during the plane ride to CA yesterday, LOL

Let's go for seven in a row guys!! :D

Milton with 2 wins in a 7 game span in which he and the Reds combined to give up 2 runs to the opposition? I'm surprised that Harang made the start on June 7th, let alone Arroyo at home against the Cubs on the 8th, because it certainly seemed the Apocalypse should have occurred sometime shortly after the last pitch was thrown in St. Louis on June 6th, 2006.

Hey homer thanks for the info.

Looks like you can give us this info, but you couldn't tell me what IL hitters could do. BTW, could you tell me if I should use hallow point or round point bullets when hunting for wild boar?

Dunn homer #11, and 28 rbi's now.

They are scoring often and early. I just hope Bronson can give them 6 or 7 solid innings and get another win.

Jerry Hairston, Jr. is not a Shortstop, Dusty....

Get a frickin' clue! He only played SS 34 times in the minors (and only 7 times in the last 9 years!!!) and had 11 errors.

You've got a "real" SS batting .800 and you have him sitting on the bench. If we lose this game tonight, this will be the reason.

Make that 29 rbi's dunn just singled in BP. Wow the Reds have been hitting lately and playing small ball quite well.

This is why I love Game threads. You can see everyone's knee jerk reactions.

Odds Janish starts tomorrow?

1-1?

Hairston has poor range and makes every routine play look hard.

Is there are reason that Janish gets called up and is not playing everyday?

Thanks Dusty. It's clear to everyone but you that Hairston is not a SS.

This is so frustrating that we put that black hole at SS.

That's why Jerry Hairston shouldn't be playing shortstop. It was just a matter of time.

Janish only makes that play 99% of the time. Dusty is dumb.

Hopefully that got Dusty's attention. Janish needs to play everyday. Hairston has much more value off the bench than in the starting lineup.

Jerry Hairston playing SS costs the Reds 2 runs.

Janish please...

There is why Janish has to play. Hairston double clutches and throws the ball away. 4-2 Reds.

Please put Janish in, please

Jerry Hairston sucks.

Would've Janish made that play earlier in the game? Probably, but it's funny how everyone jumps on one guy after he misses a routine play and then the guy they're calling for costs us a game in the ninth inning.

There's a reason paul Janish is a career minor leaguer.

Would have he liost the game in the 9th, if there was No Error earlier?

I think Janish is a back up at best... But any SS makes that Play.

Dusty is just Dusty, and his reasoning is why last nights game, "Doesn't belong to the Reds"
