That should be Mesoraco's nickname

Logan Parker just 'tripled'. Announcers are suggesting the outfielder slowed up to let the ball go past him and to the Cfer who was running a route behind him to the ball.

Cabrera strikes out looking. Bats 3-4-5 couldn't get it done after the first 2 get on. Ouch. Let hope that doesn't come back to haunt them.

Either Todd Frazier or Jay Bruce is going to homer tonight. I'm not sure which one but I can feel it.

Parker is stranded after a leadoff triple.... seems like a problem in the system early on tonight.

Denis Phipps just robbed a HR over the wall that would have been a grand slam and doubled off a runner at first. There were no outs though, so it did go down as a sac fly.

Good start for Thompson, especially when he appeared to be cooling off the last few starts. I don't want him pulling a Fisher on me.

Cough Cincinnati Cough

Do we really need to see more pitchers brought up before they're ready? Let him get AAA hitters out first before trying for big leaguers.

I was at Louisville's game today. Not a whole lot to report I'm afraid. Bruce popped out to third, got a single off the 2B's glove, and had a couple of groundouts. Hanigan had a nice night with a couple of hits. The lack of actual prospects made the offense not the most exciting to watch. It got annoying seeing eight hits in the first six innings and no runs to show for it. In fact nobody even made it to third base tonight. Lots of wasted opportunities. Shearn almost went the distance in the loss, he finally got pulled after 7 2/3 when he gave up a homer in the 8th. Coffey got the last out. Shearn could occasionally catch someone off balance, but too much stuff was hittable, as you can guess. No shame in giving up a homer to Hessman, it was his 19th, but otherwise not an impressive outing. Sorry I don't have more to report, but there's such a lack of prospects in Louisville right now there's not much more to say.
