Unbelievable performance so far. Hopefully Fogg is DFA, Belisle is demoted to mop-up, and the new #5 guy (Maloney?) starts Wednesday so Harang can get an extra day.

Maloney just pitched this weekend so he's definately out for a start wednesday. Would have to be somebody else or dare i say Fogg.

Belisle has no reason to be on this team either. why demoted him, release him. Everyone talks about his "stuff" which I just don't get. Yeah he has the stuff to be a #5 but the mental makeup to be the bat boy for the Florence Freedom.

Fogg and Belisle are basically not Major league pitchers. The worst thing is the 7 IP 2 ER start he had last time out... that probably bought him 4 more starts...

You have to admit, Dudepick has some Big ones when he brought Lincoln in to relieve Belisle, I mean, wow...

Harang could have done that.

Lets hope E-vol's ERA doesn't get screwed up cause of the teams failure to drive in runs in a crucial situation.

This is an absolutely horrible game.

Dudepick shouldn't have brought in Volquez...

The Master just showed the pupil how tough you need to be to pitch in the Majors. Let's watch the pupil now.

I cannot believe how long this game has been going! When I left the house, it was the 7th/8th inning. Now I'm home and we're heading to 18?! WOW.

Harang is just awesome. Mad respect to him! :jump:

Well, I am glad he got through the Inning with only 15 pitches...

I just hope this doesn't mess with his mechanics or throws him off, cause he is pitching dang good now and I would hate for this relief outing to screw EV up in any way...

This game is a cataclysm of what it is so wrong with the Reds, and mainly Baker as a manager. Patterson will end up with 10 ABs this game, and we simply refuse to take him out (although at this point is a moot point, becuase we have no replacements). I would also bet that CP is back in there Tuesday with his sub .200 BA and sub .250 OBP hitting leadoff............while Bruce continues to tear it up in Louisville.

I love the Reds, but it is getting really hard to root for an organization that is just so completely incompetant.

I have hated to say this, but I have been thinking about it for awile... I remeber Dudepick being accused in San Fran and Chicago of being partial to African American Players... I hope that is not the reason why Patterson is getting all the chances... Hariston at SS too instead of a legit defensive SS in Janish...

Like I said, I did not want to bring it up... But he has been accused of it in the past.

How in the world can Dusty be taken seriously by his team if he continues to run out Patterson? By the way Walt is equally at fault for having Patterson on the team. He may not have signed him but he's had more than enough time to cut him and bring up Bruce.

No kidding. Surely a sign of the impending micropoplypse.

FYI....Volquez threw 92 pitches two days ago. He had been throwing 111 every start before that, so he was about 20 pitches short of normal two days ago. He should be able to throw 50 pitches today without it effecting him too much. He's at 32 pitches after the 1st pitch to Giles.

What?

It was that 33rd pitch that did it.

I HATE DUSTY BAKER for Bringing in EV, He gets the LOSS and his ERA goes up because DUSTY BAKER makes bad decisions and Volquez has to pay for it...

The Helk with this.

God, this abortion of a game is finally over.

This team is at a cross-roads. Which road will they take. We will see against the Pirates. We will see what kind of leadership we have on this team. I'm not holding my breath because the "veterans" on this team has shown little leadership in the past.

Edinson's ERA actually went down today. All those runs from the home run were unearned because of the error by Votto.

This game was absolutely insane.

I noticed that earlier, made me feel like a novice...

I am still dissapointed that Edinson had to take a LOSS because of , namely....

#1 Dusty "Dudepick" Baker
#2 Josh Fogg
#3 Corey Patterson
