If they can't get this in would have to be a DH tomorrow or Sunday. This is from the National Weather Service.

This Afternoon: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some storms could be severe, with large hail and damaging winds. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 88. Southwest wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

I'll be there, man. Should be a fun one.

My favorite thing to watch - ever - is when the sky just opens up on a stadium full of people. We're talking bone dry one second to absolute downpour the next second. The images of seeing people freak out and run faster than they've ever run before are quite amusing.

Doesn't look promising but that first band should be past by game time and that second band is pretty thin. Maybe they'll get it in with a delay at some point.

Being in NE this is one of the few times all year that I get to watch the Reds. I hope they get this in.

John Fay on weather

Here's what I've heard on the weather front: They expect to start on time. Another line of storms is coming in about 8:30 and could cause an hour delay. But they expect to get the game in tonight.
