Yonder just got out of the way of a hard hit grounder and it found his glove and he turned the double play. The announcers said it was a spectacular play, but I would disagree. He turned his body and got out of the way and snagged it with his glove.

Stay in front of the ball son! :)

At the Lookouts game now.

Avery doesn't seem to fool anyone.

Cumberland seems to have some wheels.

Valaika certainly won't win a gold glove...but he does seem to have some pop in his bat.

Gutierrez is a big dude.

AmarilloRed

Very efficient outing as well...

He has done it on 94 pitches and 60 strikes...

He could go 9 if they want him to go out there another inning, if they don't have him on a pitch count...

It also didn't seem to have worked. The very next pitcher, Tabor, also hit the very next batter. He wasn't ejected, though.

Yonder is now 1 HR shy of the UM single season record. Don't know if that would tie him for the lead or if it would be his exclusively.

I really think it's time to cut bait with Weathers and promote Roenicke. I'm not sure Josh is completely ready for the majors, but he certainly will fool more people than Weathers at this juncture.

110 pitches is definitely an audition for the big club, I would expect the FO wanted to see him go that long before he is promoted after the break.
