Best ... Slide ... EVAR!

Edit: Yikes, for the record I posted this after his home base slide and NOT his second base slide he got hurt on.

That was sweet. What a game he's having.

Beats Paul Janish.

Jolbert is tearing it up even better than he was in L'ville. He didn't look this good even in AAA.

Great slide!

Yeah, that was an awesome slide, no doubt.

Will Dusty just give the everyday job to Janish. Isn't it obvious at this point that he has a collection of voodoo dolls in his locker that he keeps sticking with pins?!

Unfortunately...he just injured his thumb on another slide. SS injury. Jeez, how many are we gonna have?!?

The curse of the shortstop returns. This isn't even funny.

This blows. But on the upside, it does mean that there's no way we have to endure a deluge of babbling harpies when Patterson isn't the one sent down to make room for Thompson tomorrow.

The Curse of the SS has, sadly, made that point moot.

Babbling harpies????

Not because Corey isn't fully deserving of a demotion?

Dislocated finger for Cabrera, no word on how long he'll be out.

Edit: Dusty says it's a severe dislocation, talking weeks not days. We know the roster move for tomorrow at least.

And LouisvilleCARDS.... :p:

With Keppinger and JerryH set to come back, could this performance be the last we see from Cabrera as a Red...if so...nice way to go out.

Real classy making a sarcastic post about him getting injured on a slide!

Cabrera seems like a nice guy to have on the bench...that is for the right price(not 3 million)....speed, decent defense....would much rather have him than Javier coming off the bench.

I hope Cabrera can find a way back onto the roster when he heals. We know we can't keep both Kepp and Gonzo when they are healthy. Assuming one gets dealt I'd be perfectly fine with Cabrera as a reserve.

Totally agree. I sure lke the way he played last night. Not just that he was 4-4 but the effort and DESIRE something a few of these guys lack.:thumbdown

You say that now, but what will you be saying when he reverts to his Juan Castro like career numbers?

I like the way he's playing, but we know its going to fall off sharply at any time.
