I sound like a political candidate here but this team needs major changes. The lack of contact hitting on this club is absolutely ridiculous. This team leaves more runners on base than any reds club in the past seven years. Dunn gives us a lot but it's time for him to move on. This team needs to go with the pitching and defense approach. The offense will come with Votto, Bruce ,and Phillips. Give me a bunch of contact hitters like Hairston and Keppinger anyday over the free swinging home run hittters. It hasn't worked for seven years it's time for change.

They can change managers while they're at it. Tonight's 8th inning was atrocious.

Rely on pitching and defense, but you'll take Keppinger and Hairston any day?

And how exactly is the major league leader in walks a free swinger? High strikeout guy, yes; but not a free swinger.

Who wants HR hitters? They just kill rallies with their base-clearing hits.
