An update on Harang, Burton and Hairston from Fay:

Aaron Harang, Jerry Hairston and Jared Burton will be examined by Dr. Tim Kremchek tonight.

Harang and Burton haven't been cleared to throw. Hairston hasn't been cleared to run. That could happen.

Hairston (hamstring) is pretty confident he will be.

"It feels a whole lot better," he said. "Hopefully, I'll start running tomorrow. If that goes well, I'll go to Dayton and get some at-bats in a couple of days and then be ready to go in Houston. That's the plan."

Hairston is eligible to come off the DL a week from tomorrow. But running is a major step for some coming back from a hamstring injury.

Harang (forearm) is eligible Wednesday. Burton (lat muscle) is eligible Saturday. Obviously, Harang will not be ready. Burton won't take as long to get ready because he only works an inning or two. Neither will be cleared to throw if they have any symptoms at all.
