I love the Chattanooga lineup tonight. Stubbs-Henry-Valaika-Dorn. The four best prospects are batting 1-4.

I hope Dorn fairs better than the 1st three. They went K,K,K.
The Lookouts have not scored in their last 20 innings.
Dorn needs to go deep and bust up that streak.

When no one else in MLB was offering Corey Patterson even the veteran minimum as the season approached, and the Reds swooped in and offered him $3 million (at least $2 mil more than he would have received from anyone else)... what do you think Patterson's reaction was? Shock? Disbelief? A combination of both? Did he have a religious experience? Equiring minds want to know.

Can some one tell me if Dickerson is on the 40-man roster? Additionally, where could this information be found?

Fisher with a scoreless inning with one k for Louisville...

Man Rosales is hitting the ball great...After his horrid start to the season he has really heated up...I think there is a great chance for him to the be the right handed bat off the bench next year...

Thank you for the quick response. I would rather go with the unknown possibly bad hitter who takes walks and plays gold glove defense rather than the known bad hitter who doesn't take walks.

I think CP's reaction was that he'd better sign quick before the GM came to his senses. He really didn't need to worry since this was the same guy who gave something like 3.5 mill to Stanton and a couple of million to Rheal Cormier. (Not to mention 11 million to Mr. Not-so-League-Average Bronson Arroyo) The Reds will lose 90 this year and they are in deep trouble for next and the following. The only good thing you can say is that finally Wayne is gone and somebody with more perspective (we hope) is in the GM's role.

Stewart got ruffed up for the first time

1 inning, 3 hits, 2 runs(1 earned), 1 BB, 2 K's

Edit: now that I am looking at it he could have gotten through the inning unscathed:

* Robert Watson grounds out, shortstop Todd Frazier to first baseman Logan Parker.
* Michael Taylor singles on a line drive to center fielder Chris Heisey.
* Gus Milner walks. Michael Taylor to 2nd.
* Kevin Mahar singles on a ground ball to pitcher Zachary Stewart. Michael Taylor scores. Gus Milner to 3rd. Kevin Mahar to 2nd. Throwing error by pitcher Zachary Stewart.
* John Urick singles on a line drive to left fielder Carson Kainer. Gus Milner scores. Kevin Mahar to 3rd.
* Tuffy Gosewisch strikes out swinging.

1 inning, 3 hits, 2 runs(1 earned), 1 BB, 2 K's

Not really roughed up he only gave 3 hits!
We had to expect this; he only had 3 innings pitched prior to tonight's game.
The kid is a rookie right now, he pitches well but he hasn't made his proofs yet.

Got to mention that Valiquette is still putting up good numbers and doing a fine relief job in high A. Tonight's numbers : 1.2 IP 0H 0R 0ER 0BB 0K 0HR 2.77 ERA

Chris Dickerson is now OPS'ing over .840 for the season. He walks at a good clip, he steals bases, and plays good defense.

I think he needs to be in the big leagues now. He's as seasoned as he's going to get -- the time is now to see if he has what it takes to stick as a pick-it outfielder in the bigs.

the plan was to play Hairston Jr 5 innings and then get him outta there.
