I wouldn't mind seeing the Reds make a play for the Dodgers Andre Ethier. He's the odd man out in an over crowded outfield. He's a good solid young player who can play defense and bring a good bat to the dish. I think he'd be a solid addition to this young team.

In other related news, the Dodgers are willing to listen to offers for Andruw Jones and Juan Pierre - two of the biggest albatros FA contracts in the last century.

All of this is moot if they don't resign Dunn, since they'd have to replace/upgrade about 3-4 positions in order to maintain his production level - and they'd have to replace a SP in the rotation in order to gain more win shares overall. We don't have THAT much money, or prospects, to get that done.

CF is a need, but not as big of a need as LF is if we don't resign Dunn.
