What's the scoop on Rosales? Excited to see a different face play in the uni once he is here, can someone fill me in on exactly what to look for and where he projects in the future as a prospect?

Fill you in?
Ok. He's an average AAA player who has no future whatsoever on any Major League team.
He's a fill in.

Rosales was the Reds 12th round pick in 2005 out of Western Michigan U. He was drafted as a SS but projects to a corner infield position or maybe even the outfield. He has played nearly every position except C and P in the minors. His defense at SS is similar to Keppinger's.
He is very tall and lanky (6'2"' 195), but has decent power for an infielder (10-15 HR's, 35-40 2B's a year). He has steadily moved up the Reds farm system, starting in Billings and moving up a stop in the middle of each season.
He has a minor league career .842 OPS, .360 OPB .482 SLG. He got off to a terrible start this year, but has been tearing it up lately.
.413/.460/.674 in 22 games since the All-Star break.
.324/.375/.471 in July
.299/.339/.561 in June
Most likely he projects to be a Keppinger like player, can play all infield positions, but is better at the corners, and really doesn't have the power to start at 1st or 3rd. IMHO, I doubt he will start in the majors, but should be able to be a productive bench player. If he gets stronger, he could start in the majors, but he is already 25 and probably won't fill out much more.
