Injury updates?

Anyone know the deal on these guys:

- Alex Gonzalez (out for the year, but how did surgery go?)
- Ryan Freel
- Norris Hopper
- Jerry Hairston
- Jared Burton
- Kent Mercker

I would like to see them come back (well, except Gonzalez, who's out for good) to at least give some depth to the AAA team down here in Louisville, as they are ridiculously hot and about to start the playoffs run with a legit chance to win the minor league title.

Nevermind, found more info about it from the transaction wire. I see Hopper is out for the year with elbow surgery and Freel is likely too because he's on the 60 day DL. I have no idea whats up with Mercker, he was on a Reds broadcast in the booth several weeks ago saying he was ready to go then.
