HR: HOU - Jeff Kent (16), Ron Villone (1), Craig Biggio (11). CIN - Jason LaRue (15), Adam Dunn (27).

The Reds scored the winning runs in the bottom of the tenth, as D'Angelo Jimenez led off with a single to RF, and advanced to second on a balk by Brad Lidge. After Wily Mo Peņa struck out, Adam Dunn hit a 453-foot game-ending homer with a sprained ligament in his left thumb. Two days later, Dunn would go on the disabled list for the remainder of the season, becoming the third Reds outfielder--along with Austin Kearns and Ken Griffey Jr.--to be lost with a season-ending injury.
