Also of note Wilkin Castillo is now of active status and we could see him playing tonight.

That's good. I hope he changes my mind about the Dunn trade. He was really hot just before the trade. I hope he keeps it up.

With the Reds' surplus of pitching in the low minors (if such a thing exists), these are two guys that I would expect to be gone before next year. They both have talent, but at some point, you have to pay attention to the years of lackluster results.

Dayton is scoreless after two innings.

Cozart and Soto are 1-for-1.

Interesting play, Soto was hit by the ball put in play by Waring. It was a grounder and the ball hit Soto on his back foot as he was running. The umps called it a double play because apparently they said he did it on purpose. They made the wrong call, big time.

Went to the Bats game last night. They are really a fun team to watch right now, of course, anyone is who wins 15 of 16 games. A few things that stuck out to me outside of the numbers...I really like the way Rosales plays the game. He is into every pitch and you can tell he is very excited and having a lot of fun out there. He may not be more than a utility player but he is definately a guy I'm rooting for. Secondly, Castillo looked pretty solid and athletic behind the dish as advertised. But his swing from the left handed side looked shockingly weak, he looked like a pitcher up there. His swing from the right hand side looked a little better but I don't expect too much from him offensively...
