Rosales OPS over .800 now. Remarkable after his awful start that included a .461 OPS in April and .676 in May. 170+ plus awful plate appearances dug a huge hole.

As for Mesoraco, maligned a bit when he first joined the Dragons on May 7 for his catching deficiencies, those are also becoming ancient memories.

"He's getting pretty good," Scott said of Mesoraco, the parent Reds' No. 1 draft choice last year. "He's the guy. He's going to make mistakes, but I'm pleased with his development. He's been making great adjustments."

http://www.daytondailynews.com/s/content/oh/story/sports/pro/dragons/2008/08/19/ddn081908spdragons.html

Also from that same article:

"I'm more consistent," said the 6-foot-5 Partch, who throws in the mid-90s. "And the team plays good defense behind me."

I didn't know Partch threw that hard.

That makes two of us. I always had him in the 89-92 range.
