Just heard the Rangers announcers talking about it.Pretty hard to believe he could pass waivers.

i still wouldnt mind having him even though he isnt as good as he used 2 and he is better than arroyo, fogg, and harang at the moment

We might as well have hung onto Griffey, Dunn, Ross, and Maddux would push us over the hump and into the playoffs.:D

With the D`backs and Dogers tied it looks like the only team that could block it that might want to is the Marlins.

that seems odd to me trading a good veteran pitcher to help your biggest rival make the playoffs

It was probably a goodwill gesture from San Diego to get him to the playoffs. A guy of Maddox's caliber makes it easy to trade him within the division.

Yeah, I agree Maddux deserves to go to a contender I just didn't think they would trade him to the Dodgers.

hes no good nemore, well hes okay but not real good. i dun think that tha pads got ne good prospects tho.

he has a 3.99 era that would be the second best on the reds, the only reason he doesnt have a better record is because the padres suck

dodgers got him for two players to be named or cash. i wish he'd retire.

Jimmy Haynes could have a 3.99 ERA in that park.
Maddux ERA @ home: 2.75
Maddux ERA on the road: 5.75
