Billings plays a doubleheader today and has three more regular season games remaining after today. The playoffs for Dayton and Louisville begin tomorrow.

Oscar Castro will pitch game one of the doubleheader tonight starting at 7:05 with Leonardo Astorga starting game two.

Once thing to watch for tonight: Alex Buchholz enters this game with a double in five straight games and is hitting .416 with a 1.134 OPS in 113 atbats. I'd love to see him keep that BA over .400.

Astorga started game one and allowed three runs in the first inning.

Since we are only talking about Billings in here tonight, let me ask a couple questions...

Do you guys think Sappelt is going to start in Dayton next year?

Also who else do you guys see making the jump other than Bucholz...

I also think Sappelt will start in Dayton.

LF Tony Brown
CF Dave Sappelt
RF Alex Oliveras (maybe Sean Conner or Byron Wiley in right with Oliveras sharing time in center with Sappelt?)
OF Brandon Menchaca

Sappelt and Buchholz are 22 and 21 respectively. Dayton is the minimum place to start for them. I'm guessing they'll be in Sarasota by June, if not the start of the year, and they may even end the year in AA.

I agree. These are about the two most sure-fire Dragons for next year.
