View Full Version : Anyone else think this Sabathia decision is overblown?

MLB just ruled it was a hit. All I say is: who cares?

What benefit does Sabathia get in it being official? It looks like an error, if he handled it well, the guy certainly would have been out, it was a no hitter. The media has said it, for the large majority, and Sabathia knows it. So who really cares?

It's not like they screwed the Brewers out of a playoff game by a decision or something, it was just something that goes in the record books, only to be brought up when the next one happens by someone. The only thing he got robbed of, was the on the field celebration after the game - which he wouldn't have got even if it was ruled official anyway. Maybe he had a bonus clause for a no hitter in his contract or something, if so the Brewers will probably give it to him anyway.

So whats the big deal about all this? Pretty much everyone knows how much of a joke the record books are nowadays anyway with all the cheaters in it.

I'm in first in my fantasy league, and the guy behind me has Sabathia.

I was happy with the ruling. :)
