View Full Version : Another take

* Homer Bailey, Paul Janish and Sean Cumberland for Jermaine Dye (take on the full contract if need be)
* Edwin Encarnacion & Travis Wood for Jonathan Sanchez & Randy Winn
* Micah Owings, Sean Watson & Logan Parker for Jeremy Hemida & Robert Andino
* Sign a LH Reliever (Arthur Rhodes/Dennis Reyes/Joe Beimel/Wil Ohlman)
* Flip Jeremy Hermida, Matt Maloney or Daryl Thompson & Adam Rosales for Adrian Beltre

Not sure the Giants would actually deal Snachez for Edwin, but I'd sure pursue it. You'd probably need a RH bat for the bench.

Do the Mariners even want to deal Beltre?

They haven't said so, but they have reportedly experessed interest in Hermida.

I was just bored.

I'm in favor of getting Dye and Winn to man LF and CF respectively, but would rather keep Edwin.

I don't dislike Edwin at all, but if he would net a talented young LH for the rotation - like Sanchez - I'd do it. Expecially if I had somone like Hermida to flip for a stopgap 3B until Frazier is ready.

Like I said, I was just bored. No way you could string this all together in the real world.

Even without Beltre, I'd say you could deal Hermida for a decent stopgap 3B and still have an extra starter which I like
