I thought it was coming on like december 12th 2012 or something like that. I watched a special on the mayan civilization in class in 9th grade about 4 years ago and I think I saved the date in my phone to just be on the safe side...unfortunately I broke that phone in half after and 0-7 two game doubleheader, now I'll have to google search it.

The winter solstice. Probably the day after the Reds sign Tim Lincecum, and trade for Michael Inoa. The Bengals will have just clinched home field advantage, and I will find out that people listened to me and have purchased socks for me for Christmas.

I just can't type. Is it bad that that date literally freaks me out at times?

No, I think about it too. The History Channel does a good job of freaking me out. The Mayan Calendar thing has always made me uneasy. Then again my father and I bought a bigger generator for our farm before Y2K. We have used it 4 times.

Its not just the Mayan Calendar. There is also the I Ching theory.
