Yesterday's in-studio visit with Jared Burton is now archived and available for on-demand listening.

It's on my website - www.danscottshow.com - down toward the bottom of the front page.

Excellent interview, Dan -- thanks for posting. I'm impressed by Burton. You can tell he genuinely likes baseball. I was impressed by his insights re: Bruce, Cueto, Phillips, leadership, plate approach -- and more. He knew quite a bit about Gomes, too. Great stuff.

It's nice to hear a guy just talk about the game and his life and not have it boiled down to a bunch of cliches. Seems like you and Jared get along pretty well. Really great stuff, Dan.

Doesn't everything this guy does remind ya of a real down to earth Cowboy. Jared "Eastwood" Burton! Great interview Dan, very fluid, nice approach.

I love the way Burton talks. He sounds like a guy who should be driving a coal truck somewhere in southern West Virginia instead of pitching in the major leagues.
