It looks like a Florida State League game broke out -- maybe 200, 300 here. But it's a lovely night for baseball.

Alex Gonzalez flied out to left in his first at-bat. Looked fine running to first. Jay Bruce singled with two outs. By the way, the stats from games against the WBC teams don't count.

Gonzalez singled in the tihrd and advanced to second when Adam Rosales reached on an error.

That's ok, I am still going to take Arroyo's outing. Looks positive to me :)

I agree. I wasn't trying to take anything away from our players, I was just pointing out that these stats don't count toward regular ST stats or records.

3-3 after nine. Herrera in to pitch the 10th.

Herrera threw a 1-2-3 10th. This game will probably end in a tie unless the Reds score in the bottom of the 10th.

John Fay's blog (http://news.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?Category=blog07), game recap:

It looks like a Florida State League game broke out -- maybe 200, 300 here. But it's a lovely night for baseball.

Alex Gonzalez went 1-for-2. He singled in the third and advanced to second when Adam Rosales reached on an error.

Gonzalez said he felt fine.

"A little tightness in the muscle," he said.

He'll be ready to play in the field shortly.

"That's what I'm really shooting for," he said. "I want to be 100 percent, get on the field and help my team."

Reds scored two in the fourth -- one on a balk, one on Chris Dickerson's single. Jay Bruce went deep to left-cener off former teammate Alexander Smit.

Bronson Arroyo's line: 4 IP, 2 hits, 2 strikeouts.

Francisco Cordero gave a run in the sixth. He's given up runs in all three of his outings. Matt Maloney gave to a two-run homer in the seventh.

The Reds won it in the 10th. Luis Bolivar doubled, moved to second on Juan Francisco groundout and scored on a wild pitch.
