just thought I'd post this and see what everyone thinks about it. I always wondered what kind of manager Larkin would make, we're soon going to find out.....at least for one game.

Gotta love Larkin. He seems like the kind of guy that will do well as a manager. He certainly knows the game well enough.

It will be interesting if he will rotate Rollins and Jeter in the game as they were the first two. (Game 3 Jeter was DH)

I would expect he will. I read that it was Larkin that suggested it.

I hope Juan Carlos Sulbaran gets in to face the American line up.

I watched the first two innings on DVR this morning and Davey Johnson ended up making it to the game. I bet he wished he had not.

USA plays tonight at 7:30 PM on ESPN2.

That game last night was embarrassing. Those guys ought to be ashamed.

It was pretty unreal to see the US got run ruled by Puerto Rico. Disappointing I must say.

Isn't Puerto Rico part of the US? If you can't beat them join them.

Puerto Rico has a bunch of MLB stars and players on the team including Carlos Beltran, Carlos Delgado, and I-Rod. They are hitting A TON right now. Certainly better than the US.

We will play them again (provided we don't get eliminated by Venezuela) and I'm not so sure we can keep up. We'll need to have a good game, offensively, to do it.

I don't care who is wearing the manager's cap, if you can't hit and you are being shelled, you are going to lose.
