Noby has talked about this kid but he has been lights out this spring! Any chance he gets a shot to come north? Only thing is all the bullpen spots seem to be accounted for. If Cordero gets off to a rocky start what are the chances of shopping him or putting him on the DL and bringing up Roenicke to fill the set up role and have Burton close?

Roenicke certainly deserves a shot. He looks like he could dominate hitters. It is too bad that the Reds had to block the way with the likes of David Weathers. Maybe they could trade Stormy. (Oh that's right, Bowden's not a GM any more!).

Herrera could be better at this point. He's looked great in ST, so far. He's given up 1 hit with 6 SO

Roenicke's SO/BB looks off, although he looks pretty good.

He's got options, so there's time for him. They didn't sign Weathers to cut him. He's been OK in ST plus he eats innings, for a reliever.

He may good, but the club has not invested,$46 million in him. He'll suffer a bit, and then out-produce the money man. Such are the idocies of the game.
