Nick Swisher is currently pitching in a blowout for the Yankees, who are down 15-3 to the Rays.
Always thought it was funny to see a position player on the mound.

It's even funnier when they go 3 and out. LOL.

He just twittered "My arm is killing me. hahahahaha." I didn't know what that was all about until I saw this thread.

He pitched better than the starter and relievers, actually not giving up any runs. They may dangle him as a reliever in trade bait. ;)

I grew up with Nick and he can flat bring it. At least he could in Little League. :)

Watched the inning on YouTube.Swish was only throwing around 75mph but it didn't really look like any of the guys hit the ball very hard.Funny .
I wonder who would pitch for the Reds if they ever did this.
Jerry Hairston seems possible

Ha ha, good one. I'd personally vote for EE. Nothing bad could possibly come from him having to hit a small target 60 feet away...

I'm guessing Bruce, our hard-throwing lefty. I have Nick Swisher in my Yahoo fantasy league, I wonder if that 0.00 ERA and strikeout will count?

1869, do you still keep contact with Swisher? My cousin played with him at OSU. I'd love to see Swisher play for the Reds.

He'd probably take someone's head off. I say he starts vs. the Cubs.
